I am a Montrealer who loves to travel. I certainly lack experience and I haven’t visited that many countries, but I’ve spent a lot of time getting to know the people and the culture of the cities I did visit.
What I love about Montreal is the diversity in people and its reflection on the architecture. From Old Montreal to Place Mont-Royal passing through China Town, the scenery changes immensely.
Some of my favorite neighbourhoods to visit are probably Mont-Royal for its diversity in buildings, restaurant and even people and Old Montreal for its various activities and views on the city. I find Old Montreal romantic fun to visit.
I haven't lived in Montreal all my life but I certainly love it. If I could suggest one place to visit in Montreal it would be the Botanical Garden. Unfortunately, it is closed for construction until 2019, but when it reopens it is definitely a must-see. Another beautiful site is Mont-Royal Park. This place offers a lot of various family-friendly activities in nature.
